Great place to come stay for a vacation. Very quiet and peaceful. The river next to the cabin was really nice to sit and listen to. The cabins were very clean and up to date.would definitely come back.
Had a great time and loved our cabin! We will return! Five star place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great weekend!!! Our cabin Let It Snow was beautiful, clean and just cozy!! The sounds of the river in the evening was absolutely relaxing while enjoying the hot tub. Close to the hiking trails and wineries!! We will definitely be returning!!! Five star place!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
We stayed in Let It Snow for the past weekend! It was a great place to stay! Very clean, well stocked, comfy bed and good pillows! Everything we expected and more! We will come back again and stay longer! Phi and Lori
To start, I can’t stress enough how nice and peaceful it was here. Little chipmunks and bunnies playing in the big field and a nice large porch overlooking the river and listening to the water crash over the rocks in the river. It was so nice and relaxing. We felt very renewed after having spent 4 nights here.
We had a great time in the “River’s Edge” cabin.
It was very cozy and had a great porch overlooking the Linville River. There were several access points to be able to get into the water if you chose to. The water was very cool but the bigger rocks were slick so watch out for those!
There was a very sweet welcome basket with a few snacks and coffee in our cabin that was much appreciated. Plenty of cabinetry and storage room and plenty of cooking and grilling utensils.
There was limited cell phone service while we were there, but we were still able to make phone calls, just no data. There is satellite wi-fi available for a few hours a day (we were completely fine with this and knew it ahead of time).
There is a plethora of outdoor activities to do in this area so you will never get bored (my favorite was Grandfather mountain, only about 20 minutes away)!
For those who wonder about the TV, there was satellite TV and we had so many channels! We didn’t watch it much except for a little news in the morning and maybe a movie before bed, but there was so much to choose from!
The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft!
We will definitely be back!
Beautiful place to stay
If you want beautiful scenery, a perfectly put together cabin, and a hot tub, you have found your next vacation destination. Inn keeper is always available and very helpful. Very secluded and relaxing. What are you waiting for??
Such a beautiful place on the river! The scenery was beautiful, just a few steps out the back to the river. We spent the weekend with our two boys and enjoyed the hot tub and some sight seeing. The little touches like board games and popcorn were a treat. It was a great place to stay and the owners were so helpful. You can tell they take pride in their cabins with the cleanliness of the entire property. We will definitely be back!
This cabin was nice and cozy. Had an awesome weekend going to the falls and the blowing rock (the local town) The owner of the cabin was very nice and helpful. My only complaint was that the shower head was kinda gross could use a good cleaning and the toilet paper was 1 ply at best!! Other than that it was a wonderful stay.
Absolutely love, love, love, this place! Beautiful location where every cabin sits right on the river to give you that escape from all the hustle and bustle of the city.
So if your looking for a place to disconnect from the city life…then look no further! and keep in mind, your cell phone will “NOT WORK” up in the mountains! so make all arrangements a good half hour out! prior to visiting! Learned that the hard way from our first time of visiting!
Also get all provisions as needed for the duration of your stay BEFORE arriving! because the closest supermarket is about 45 minutes away! And if you want to drink a beer on a lounge chair watching the beautiful river like I enjoy doing…I would definitely suggest purchasing that before you arrive because it is a dry county and they DO NOT have any alcohol in any of the local gas stations.
A very peaceful place. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved them! Close to Blowing Rock and Boone where there are many activities such as zip lining, white water rafting, and horseback riding.
We enjoyed our visits to Grandfather Mountain and Linville Caverns.
If you are a beginner or an experienced skier you will love the slopes that are close to these cabins! And you can relax in your hot tub when you get back!
There are wonderful restaurants in the area. We had everything from hamburgers and pizza to prime rib, trout, and grilled salmon. There is a place in Blowing Rock that serves wild game prepared many different ways!
We cannot wait to come back. We are already planning our next trip!
This is our second time here. Very cozy and private. Love the hot tub and location on the river! This has turned out to be our annual anniversary spot!
We stayed here back in 2009 and then returned this year just two weeks ago . We loved it just as much if not more than the first time . Love how close the river we were and the quiet . We had such a wonderful time , it was beautiful and cozy without the outrageous cost . We will definitely be back again !
Nice place. Worth the price. Beautiful and romantic.
Shane is great! Beautiful location, views, and cabins. Great fishing in the Linville River. Lots to do.
We love it,, it’s a nice get away.. the owner is a great guy too.. this is our 3rd time going since March and we’re thinking of buying a cabin 😊 the only downfall is no service and we seem to always have an issue with the WiFi on our phones..
This place is fabulous!! It was so relaxing and absolutely beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be back!
It’s a beautiful place to relax nice and quiet very friendly people my husband and I loved it can’t wait to go back
My husband and I have stayed at these cabins twice and will definitely go back. The cabins are so clean and the grounds are very well maintained. It’s so relaxing having a campfire next to the river at the end of the day.
Excellent …. Total Peace… Best price for your money…
Cute and cozy cabins on the Linville River!!! Nice for couples!!! Not far from local towns and sites to see. You can fish in the river right outside your cabin. If you’re looking for something a little more private than a hotel this is the place to be.
Really cool cabins! Better than I expected! Great for a quiet get away. Right on a little river. Not as secluded as some of the pictures make it seem but still really nice. NO cell service for some carriers but they do have WiFI 🙂 Verizon network is what everyone has around there.
Very nice and very relaxing…… We are definitely coming back……
The owner was so nice and helpful the few times I called. We loved the cabin and found this vacation to be very relaxing and peaceful!
The cabin was very clean and the sound of the Linville river outside our window was refreshing and peaceful. The next trip we make there we would rent again.
We found this rental situated right on a little river to be very enjoyable. It was quiet, private and very relaxing. Our kids (13, 10 & 5 years old) were able to play in the river the whole time. We bought tubes from the local drug store and had a blast.
We stayed in rivers edge it slept 6. It was a little small, but turned out to be perfect for our family of 5. Will defiantly go back very soon.
We stayed at The Linville River Log Cabins last year and loved every second of our visit. We even stayed an extra night though it meant leaving at 4:30AM to get to work on time. This is one of the most relaxing places I have been. The owners were great and we ruly hated to leave!
We are going back again next week and cannot wait to return. I would absolutely recommend the Linville River Log Cabins to anyone looking to relax and unwind. It is a great experience!
Karin – Clemson, SC (the first visit) – Gastonia, NC (the 2nd visit) 🙂
Linville River Log Cabin rentals are in the heart of Averty County, conveniently located near Granddfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Blowing Rock and less than 20 minutes south of Boone.
The cabins are nestled along the Linville River, just off the highway. Although you won’t get the spectacular views as some of the other rental properties, the scenery is delighful. Firepits are located right along the water, so bring folding camp chairs. Also bring water shoes because this part of the river is shallow and you can wade right in!
Cabins themselves are spotless, nicely decorated and well-stocked. They are close together but surprisingly private. The owners are really nice and obviously hardworking; we were greeted by Shane who showed us around and gave us maps and sightseeing suggestions.
All cabins have hottubs, fishing pole rentals, cheap firewood bundles ($4 compared to $5 at local stores) delivered right to your firepit, and grills (bring charcoal.) Our cabin was Mountain Haven and we had directTV with premium movie channels and a DVD player. (Shane might be getting wireless back next year.)
This is the third year of operation and even though they claim to still be learning about the business, everything was smooth as silk for us. We loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend them!
